    Talk to us about yours

  • Run every location from one place.

Built for a brand team looking after many pages of its own, and for the people at each location who keep theirs current.

    • Your spreadsheet becomes your pages.

Upload your locations, or give us a published sheet we read every night. We show every difference first: pages to make, what changes on each, rows that need fixing. Then one press, and every page follows its row.

    • Brand rules that hold.

Lock the look, the logo, the rows every page must carry and a line at the foot. Locations change only what’s theirs: hours, staff, news, their own links. Whatever is sent, the rules are put back before a page is saved.

    • Nothing goes live without a yes.

A location’s change waits for your brand team, with what it changes in plain words. Sign it off and it’s live; send it back with a note they see in their editor.

    • Your people, your sign-in.

Give people roles and the regions they look after, with no seats to count. Company sign-in through Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID or Okta is set up with your IT person and tested before you require it. Once it’s required, we ask everyone to sign in through it again every day, so turning off someone’s work account shuts them out within a day; take them out on People and they’re out at once.

    • A record of every change.

Every publish, sign-off, invitation, role change, sign-in and download, with who and when, kept for two years and ready to download as a spreadsheet.

    • One page that lists every location.

Your brand’s own page shows every location by city, and its structured data names each one as part of your brand. Each location links back.

We keep improving every location’s page, at no extra cost.

We keep updating how search engines and AI answer engines read every Portage page, and each of your locations gets every change by itself.

Nobody can promise a place in search results or a mention in an AI answer, so we don’t. What we can do is make your page easy to read and accurate, and keep it that way.

    What that covers

    • Facts search engines can read. Your page carries structured data: who you are, where you are, your hours and dates, and your links, in the terms search engines and AI answer engines read. It’s built from what’s on your page and nothing else, and when those terms change, we update every page.
    • Events, menus and prices. Dates, menus, price lists, questions and releases are each described the way search engines expect them, and an event carries its venue and ticket link when you’ve given them.
    • Found when it changes. Once your page is in search, it’s in our sitemap with the date it last changed, and we tell the search engines that use IndexNow when it changes or first comes into search.
    • Open to answer engines. Search engines and AI answer engines can read a page that’s in search. The crawlers AI companies use for training are asked to stay off every page and upload.

    • Your first spreadsheet brought in with you, on a call

Everything that comes with the year
    • Sign-in through Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID or Okta, set up with your IT person and tested before it’s on for everyone

    How it works.

    1. Tell us how many pages

We send an order form. You sign it and give us your PO number, if you use them.

    2. We bring your spreadsheet in with you

On a call, your first spreadsheet becomes your pages, and we set up company sign-in with your IT person if you want it.

    3. We send the invoice

It carries your PO number and is due in 30 days, paid by bank transfer. Your organisation is ready as soon as you sign.

    4. A year at a time

We email your admins once, 60 days before the year ends. Nothing renews by itself, and if we ever stop offering Enterprise, we refund the part of the year you haven’t used.

Try it on ten locations first.

See your own locations in it, with your own people, before anybody signs anything.

    • 30 days on up to ten pages, with every organisation tool on.
    • No order form and no card. We set it up with you, and your spreadsheet comes in on a call.
    • The Made with Portage credit stays on during the month, and your own domains and Business verified start with the paid year.
    • If you don’t go on, your pages carry on as free pages or come down. Your call.

    Which one fits.

Enterprise is for one brand with many pages of its own. If that isn’t you, one of these will do it for less.

    • Fewer than ten pages

      The free page

A few pages of one brand? Every block, theme and stat is free on each of them, with no card, and helpers can share the work.

    • An agency with clients

      The Agency plan

Looking after other businesses’ pages? The Agency plan is made for that, and your first five clients’ pages are free.

    • Ten or more pages of one brand

      Enterprise

One brand with many locations or people, kept in step from one place, with sign-off, company sign-in and a record of every change.

    What we don’t have yet.

Said up front: no SOC 2 report, no hosting in Canada, no phone line, and no SAML or SCIM yet. Your data is held in the eastern United States.

    • No SOC 2 report. We answer your security questionnaire in writing instead, whether it’s your own, SIG Lite or the CAIQ. We’re preparing a data processing agreement; ask us.

    • No hosting in Canada. Portage runs on Vercel, and its database is held by Supabase in the eastern United States, encrypted on the way and at rest.

    • No phone line. A named person at the studio replies by email within one working day, so everything is in writing.

    • No SAML or SCIM yet. Company sign-in works through OpenID Connect, which Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta all support.

    • Not every part meets WCAG 2.2 AA yet. We aim to, and our accessibility statement lists what we haven’t met.

    What your team will ask.

Can we try it before we pay?
Yes. Your first month is free: up to ten pages for 30 days, with every organisation tool on, and no order form or card. The Made with Portage credit stays on during the month, and your own domains and Business verified start with the paid year. If you don’t go on, your pages carry on as free pages or come down, your call.
Do we pay for each person?
No. Everyone in your organisation can sign in, from the brand team to each location, with no seats to count. You pay for pages.
Do you build our pages for us?
We bring your first spreadsheet in with you on a call, so every location gets its page from its row. If you’d rather we built pages by hand from an old link page or a brief, that’s $99 a page, once.
How is company sign-in set up?
With your IT person, by email or on a call. We set it up for your domains and test it with a few of your people, and only then can you require it for everyone. It works with Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.
    Where is our data held?
In the eastern United States, in a database run by Supabase, and served by Vercel. We don’t offer hosting in Canada yet. Our security page lists every company that handles data for us.
Do you have a SOC 2 report?
No. We answer your security questionnaire in writing instead, whether it’s your own, SIG Lite or the CAIQ. We’re preparing a data processing agreement; ask us.
    Seven more questions
Can you do SAML or SCIM?
Not yet. Sign-in works through OpenID Connect, which Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta all support. If you need SAML, tell us and we’ll give you a date in writing before you sign anything.
We’re in Quebec. What do we need?
Law 25 asks for a privacy impact assessment before personal information leaves the province. We’ll give you what it needs from us: what we keep, where, for how long, and who handles it.
What happens to our pages if we leave?
You can download everything at any time. Your pages stay up to the end of the year you paid for. Then each location can carry on free with the Portage credit, or come down. Your choice.
    What if Portage shuts down?
Our terms promise you notice well ahead, and a full export of every page. If we ever stop offering Enterprise, we refund the part of the year you haven’t used.
    Who do we talk to?
A named person at the studio in Edmonton, by email, who replies within one working day. There is no phone line, so everything is in writing.
Do you guarantee our pages will rank?
No, and nobody honest can. Every page is plain text a crawler can read without running scripts, with structured data built only from what’s on it, and we keep improving that for every page. That’s the part we control.
We have fewer than ten locations. Is this for us?
Probably not yet. A few pages of one brand run well as free pages, with every block and theme. If you need company sign-in, brand rules and sign-off anyway, tell us and we’ll say honestly whether it’s worth it.

    Start with a free month.

Tell us roughly how many pages and when you’d like to start. A person at the studio in Edmonton replies by email within one working day, and sets up your month with you.

We reply by email within one working day. No sales calls.
