Stats without cookies
Link in bio stats with no cookies, and nothing for visitors to accept.
See how many people opened your page, what they tapped and where they came from. Your visitors never see a cookie banner, because there’s nothing on your page that needs one.
Free on every Portage page, with every other feature. Nothing to upgrade to.
What your numbers page shows you.
Views, visitors and taps
How many times your page was opened, roughly how many people that was, and which links they tapped, day by day.
Where they came from
The site that sent them, your own ?via= words for each bio and poster, the kind of device and the country, all as totals.
A year back, and the file
Look back up to a year, compare with the period before, and download any of it as a CSV whenever you like.
What a visit leaves behind, and what it doesn’t.
This is the whole of it. A visit adds one to some counts. It doesn’t leave anything on the visitor’s device, and we don’t keep anything that points back to them.
A visit adds
- One view, on that day, for your page.
- Where it came from, the site that sent it, or your own ?via= word.
- What kind of device, a phone, a tablet or a computer.
- Which country, the country, and nothing finer.
- Which link was tapped, if one was, as a count beside that link.
We never keep
- A cookie: nothing is stored on the visitor’s phone or computer.
- An IP address: it’s used to answer the request and never written down.
- Anything that lasts: the scrambled ID that tells visitors apart changes every day.
- A name or an account: visitors never sign in, and we never ask who they are.
- Visitors who say no: Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control aren’t counted at all.
Where the numbers stop.
- Visitors whose browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control aren’t counted, so your numbers may run a little low. We think that’s the right trade.
- Visitors are counted with a scrambled ID that changes every day, so someone who comes back tomorrow counts again. There’s no way to follow one person across days, on purpose.
- We can’t tell you who anyone is, where in a city they are, or what else they looked at online. We never collect that.
There’s nothing to set up.
Put your page live.
Counting starts with the first visit. There’s no code to paste and no account to connect.
Open Your numbers.
It’s one press from the editor. Pick a range, and see it beside the period before.
Download it if you want it.
Every table has a CSV, so the numbers can go wherever you keep the rest.
