Contrast that holds
Every theme’s words are measured against its own colours. Choose your own and the editor tells you straight away if two of them get hard to read.
A typeface for low vision
Switch to Atkinson Hyperlegible, made so letters that look alike, like I, l and 1, are easy to tell apart.
Pictures described
The editor reminds you to describe each picture for people using screen readers, right where you add it.
Links that say what they do
A link that opens an app, a PDF, an email or a phone call says so, and you can mark any section written in another language.

When you add a picture, the editor asks what’s in it. A sentence is plenty.

Check your own colours.
If you change a colour and two of them get hard to read together, the editor tells you right away.
Every theme, measured.
The contrast between each theme’s words and its background, worked out from the theme’s own colours when this page was built. 4.5 to 1 is the usual floor for body text.

What we don’t claim.
- We don’t claim a conformance level for your page. What you put on it, and how you describe it, matters as much as how it’s built.
- We can measure colours, not pictures. Words over your own photo get a darkening layer, but a busy photo can still be harder to read.
- Videos and posts from other sites play in their own players, which have their own accessibility.
