  • Aftercare

    Leave the wrap on for two hours, then wash it gently with warm water and plain soap. Pat it dry with a clean paper towel. A thin layer of the balm I give you, two or three times a day. No swimming, baths or sun for two weeks. Let it peel. Don’t pick it. Anything worrying, message me, or see a doctor if it’s hot or swollen.

    I take a deposit when we book, through my booking page, and it comes off the price of the tattoo. Please read the policy there before you pay. Nothing is paid on this page.

What tattoo artists ask before they switch.

Can my page say when my books open next?
Yes. Set your books to closed and pick the month you open again, and your page says “Books open again in March”. When you open, switch it back and the Request a consult button returns. People can sign up to get an email the day you open, too.
Can I take deposits through Portage?
No. Money never moves on a Portage page. Put a short note about your deposit on your page and link it to the booking tool you already use, so people read your policy before they pay you there.
Can I show photos of my tattoos?
Yes, fresh and healed. The rule is the same for every page: nothing sexually explicit. If some of your work needs a warning first, turn on the content warning and visitors see it before anything else on your page.
Can a shop with several artists use one page?
Yes. Keep the shop’s hours and walk-ins at the top and link each artist’s own page, or give each artist a heading with their own books and flash. Every artist can have a page of their own for free.
Is it really free? What’s the catch?
No catch. Every feature is free for everyone. You only pay if you want an identity or business check, Unmarked to take the Portage credit off a business page, room to look after more than ten clients’ pages from one account, or custom work from the studio. None of those adds a feature. Every free page has a small Made with Portage line at the bottom, ours included, and your page never comes down because you didn’t buy something.
