QR code and print kit

A QR code for your link in bio, and something good to print it on.

Every Portage page has a QR code ready the moment it’s live. Print it on a poster, a window sign, a table tent or a sheet of business cards, drawn in your own landscape and colours.

Free on every Portage page, with every other feature. Nothing to upgrade to.

Stonefox Bread, an example bakery. Its table tent is below. Open the page

The print kit, drawn from a real page.

These are the actual sheets for Stonefox Bread, an example page: its own landscape, its own colours, its hours read straight off the page. Yours look like yours.

  • Table tent

Fold it along the middle and stand it on a table or a counter. It reads the right way up from both sides.

  • Poster

For a noticeboard, a door or the merch table. Your next dates go on it when you have some.

  • Window sign

Printed sideways, with your opening hours or your next dates when your page has them. Tape it inside the glass.

What you get, and where it lives.

  • A plain code, ready to download

An SVG for anything you’re designing, or a 1200 pixel PNG for anything else. It points at your page and nothing in between, so it keeps working as long as your page does.

  • Five things to print

A poster, a window sign, a table tent, ten business cards to a sheet and aftercare cards, on Letter or A4. Each one is drawn from your page, so your hours or your next dates go on it by themselves.

  • Each one counts on its own

Every printed piece carries its own word in its code, so your numbers say how many visits came from the poster and how many from the table tent.

From page to paper in three steps.

Get your QR code

  1. Publish your page.

The code exists from the first publish. There’s nothing to switch on.

  2. Open Share in the editor.

Download the QR code, or press Posters and cards to see every sheet drawn from your page.

  3. Print it and put it up.

Print at home or at a shop. Each sheet says what it’s for, and the table tent folds along its middle.

What it won’t do.

  • The code is black on white, whatever your colours. Cameras read plain contrast best, so we don’t tint it.
  • If you change your handle, your old address forwards for up to 90 days, so reprint your codes before then.
  • We don’t print or post anything. You get the sheets as files and print them wherever you like.

Questions about QR codes.

Is the QR code free?
Yes, and so is every sheet in the print kit. There’s no watermark on the code and no limit on how many times it can be scanned.
Will my QR code stop working?
Not while your page is up. It points straight at your page’s address, not at a short link we could take away, so there’s nothing in between to expire.
Can I tell how many people scanned it?
Yes. Scans show up in your numbers as their own source, and each printed piece has its own, so you can tell the poster from the table tent. We count the visit, never the person.
Does scanning set a cookie on someone’s phone?
No. A scan is an ordinary visit to your page, counted without cookies, like every other visit.

Put your page on the counter.

Pick a handle, publish, and your code and print kit are ready to download.
