Portage for photographers

Your work as big as the screen allows, and your diary at a glance.

Show your photographs in a gallery that opens each one larger, say how many sessions are left this season, and keep client galleries behind a password. Your page asks AI companies not to train on any of it.

Client galleries can sit behind a password.

Your work on show before the next shoot.

  1. Hang your best work.

A gallery that opens each photograph larger.

  2. Say what’s left.

Sessions open, a few left, or a waitlist.

  3. Lock the client galleries.

A password, and the address stays hidden until it’s right.

We made all three up. Tamara Quill sells prints from Canmore, Isla Brennan shoots weddings in Nova Scotia, and Northlight is a portrait studio in Regina. We made all three up. Start from any of them.

What a photographer’s link has to carry.

My work needs to be seen big

Show it in a gallery whose rows always fill, and each photograph opens larger, in its own shape, when it’s tapped.

Everyone asks if I have dates

A board says how many sessions are left this season and what each costs in your words, and switches to a waitlist when they’re gone.

  • Clients need their gallery

  • Mini-session days fill up

List them as dates with the place, and each drops off the day after. A countdown can sit above the next one.

  • I don’t want my photos used to train AI

Your page asks AI companies not to train on it, or on the pictures you upload. Search engines aren’t asked to stay away. It’s a request, so crawlers that follow the rules stay out.

  • I sell prints too

Lay your prints out as a grid with sizes and prices in your words, each going to wherever you sell them.

Every feature here is free, and your photographs are never put behind anything you have to buy.

How these work, step by step: ask AI not to train on it and password and age locks.

What photographers ask us first.

Can people see my photos larger?
Yes. A gallery lays your pictures out in rows that always fill, and each one opens larger, in its own shape, when it’s tapped. A line under each can say where and when it was taken.
Can I keep a client’s gallery private?
Yes. Put the link behind a password and give the password to your client. The gallery’s address isn’t anywhere in your page until the password’s right, so nobody finds it by looking at the code.
Can I ask AI companies not to train on my photos?
Your page already does, with a do-not-mine notice that says the same. Search engines aren’t asked to stay away. It’s a request, so crawlers that follow the rules stay out.
Can my page say I’m booked for the season?
Yes. A board says Books open or Books closed, how many sessions are left and what each kind costs in your own words. It switches to a waitlist when they’re gone, and says the month you open again.
Is it really free? What’s the catch?
No catch. Every feature is free for everyone. You only pay if you want an identity or business check, Unmarked to take the Portage credit off a business page, room to look after more than ten clients’ pages from one account, or custom work from the studio. None of those adds a feature. Every free page has a small Made with Portage line at the bottom, ours included, and your page never comes down because you didn’t buy something.

Let your link open on your best work.

Put it in your bio and on your business card, and let the work do the talking.

Use letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores. You can change it later.
