Privacy for your visitors
A link in bio without tracking or a cookie banner
A Portage page sets no cookies for visitors, loads no tracking scripts or pixels and never stores anyone’s IP address, so there’s nothing for a cookie banner to ask about. You still get your views, clicks and where visitors came from, counted without following anyone.

What a visit never leaves behind
No cookies
Nothing is set in a visitor’s browser to recognise them. The one thing a page can keep there is a visitor’s own answer to an 18+ question, if they give one, and it never leaves their browser.
No tracking scripts or pixels
Portage pages don’t load analytics scripts or tracking pixels from anyone, ours included, and you can’t add one.
No IP addresses kept
We never store a visitor’s IP address, so nothing kept points back to a person.
Nothing from other sites until asked
A player, a post or a booking service loads nothing until someone presses it. YouTube plays from its privacy-enhanced address.
What you can still see
Your numbers are totals, not people.
Views, visitors and taps
How often your page was opened, roughly how many people that was, and which links they tapped, day by day, up to a year back.
Where they came from
The site that sent them, the word on each of your bios, the kind of device and the country.
A scrambled ID, new every day
Visitors are told apart with an ID that changes daily and can’t be turned back into an address or a device, so nobody can be followed from one day to the next.
When a visitor asks not to be counted
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If a visitor’s browser sends either, their visit isn’t counted at all. Your numbers may run slightly low, and we think that’s the right trade.
AI training crawlers
Your page and your pictures ask the crawlers that collect for AI training to stay away, while search engines can still read a page that’s in search.
What people ask about privacy on a link page
Does my link in bio need a cookie banner?
Not on Portage. Your page sets no cookies to recognise visitors and loads no tracking scripts, so there’s nothing for a banner to ask permission for.
Can I add a tracking pixel to my Portage page?
No. Portage pages load no tracking pixels or analytics scripts from anyone. If you want visits to show in your own website’s stats, turn on campaign tags and your links carry labels your site can read.
What happens once a visitor taps a link?
They’re on the other site, under that site’s own rules. Your page only counts that the link was tapped.
Is the privacy-friendly counting free?
Yes. Every number, a year of history and the downloads are free on every page.
A page your visitors don’t have to accept
Make your page, and it opens straight onto your links, every time.
