Portage for musicians

Send people to your new record and your next show.

People can play the new single right on your page, and every streaming service gets its own link.

Maple & Rust

Saskatoon

Loud-ish folk songs out of Riversdale

We’ll play just about anywhere that’ll have us, and lately that’s meant most of the prairies.

On a real page this opens whatever link you add

Your own page can link to anything with a web address.

Make one like this

Tap the address to open Maple & Rust’s page and try it.

Past shows drop off your page on their own.

Your record and your dates, on one link.

  1. Paste the single.

Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud or Vimeo. It plays right on your page.

  2. Add your dates.

Or your calendar’s link. Old shows leave by themselves.

  3. Print the poster.

Your page prints as one, with your next four dates and a code.

Already have a link page?

Paste its address and we’ll rebuild it on Portage for you to check. Nothing goes public until you publish.

A few ways musicians use their page.

We made all three up. Each puts a player near the top, so people hear the music before they read a word.We made all three up. Start from any of them.

Your page keeps up with your releases and your shows.

I want people to hear it without leaving

Add a Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube or Vimeo player near the top. It loads only when someone presses play.

Last year’s dates are still on my page

Each show leaves your page the day after, and stays saved in your editor. Or paste your Bandsintown, Google or Apple calendar.

  • I want a mailing list that’s actually mine

Collect emails and download the list whenever you want. Fans can tell you which show is nearest, so you know who to write to.

  • My new single is on every streaming service

Each service gets its own icon. Make this month’s single the big featured link, wearing the artwork its release page shares.

  • Merch and tickets get buried

Give your tickets link a slow pulse, add a badge like “New”, and lay out your merch in a grid with its prices.

  • Promoters keep asking for our stage plot

Add it as a PDF people can download. Hidden details in the file, like whose laptop made it, come out when you upload it.

Put the link on your posters and inside the record sleeve, and it’ll always point to what’s current.

How these work, step by step: QR code and print kit, an email list that’s yours, a Listen button for podcasts, share your numbers, show when you’re live, a release with pre-saves, grids, carousels and folds and send everyone to one link.

What bands ask before the next show.

Can I put every streaming service on one page?
Yes. Put them under one heading in whatever order you like, and each one goes straight to that service.
What happens to tour dates after the show?
Each date drops off your page the day after the show, so you never have to remember to delete old ones.
Can people play a track without leaving the page?
Yes. Paste a YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud or Vimeo link and it plays right there on your page.
Can I print a poster for the tour?
Yes. Your page prints as a poster with your next four dates on it, from the dates on your page and your calendar, in your own landscape and colours, with a code to your page. Your stats show how many people scanned it. When a promoter or a venue asks for numbers, send them a link to your page’s real ones, with the dates and figures you choose.
Can people tell my page is really mine?
Yes. Each profile that links back to your page gets a tick, and that’s free. If someone is pretending to be you, Identity verified adds a mark once your ID is checked. It’s $39 a year.
Can my page show when I’m live, or link my Discord?
Yes. Add your Twitch channel and your page shows a live badge while you’re streaming, then takes it down when you stop. You can also add your Discord invite, and the page shows how many people are online in it. Neither one adds a cookie to your page.
Is it really free? What’s the catch?
No catch. Every feature is free for everyone. You only pay if you want an identity or business check, Unmarked to take the Portage credit off a business page, room to look after more than ten clients’ pages from one account, or custom work from the studio. None of those adds a feature. Every free page has a small Made with Portage line at the bottom, ours included, and your page never comes down because you didn’t buy something.
