Support card

Tip and donation buttons on your link in bio, in one tidy card.

Put every way to back you in one place: your Ko-fi or Patreon, a fundraiser or charity page, and an e‑Transfer address people copy into their own bank. The money goes straight to you.

Free on every Portage page. Nothing to upgrade to.

Two Backpacks North, an example travel channel, with a support card made for this page. Open the page

Every way to back you, and none of them through us.

  • The services you use

Ko-fi, Patreon, Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal.me, Throne, GoFundMe, CanadaHelps, Every.org and Givebutter, each a button to your own page there.

  • Interac e‑Transfer

Your e‑Transfer address with a Copy button, so people in Canada can send from their own bank’s app.

  • A goal you set

Say what it’s for and type in how far along you are. The bar fills to match, in your page’s currency.

Building your card.

Make my page

  1. Add a Support card row.

Paste your links in the order you’d like people to see them.

  2. Add your e‑Transfer address.

Use the email your bank sends e‑Transfers to. People copy it with one tap.

  3. Set a goal if you have one.

Type what it’s for, the amount and how much has come in. Update it when the number changes.

A rescue farm, a VTuber and a folk band.

Each card is in its own page’s colours. The pages are examples, and so are their numbers.

  • A charity’s donations and its winter goal, from Hay Bale Rescue
  • Tips and a wishlist for a streamer, from Natsu Tanuki
  • A band’s Patreon and e‑Transfer, from Maple & Rust

What a support card can’t do.

  • Nobody pays on your page. Every button goes to the service, and the e‑Transfer goes through the visitor’s own bank.
  • Portage can’t read what a service has raised, so the goal bar shows only the numbers you type.
  • Your e‑Transfer address is visible to anyone who opens your page.

More about the support card.

Does Portage take a cut?
No. Portage never handles the money, so there’s nothing to take a cut of. Each service has its own fees, which you’ll find on its site.
Can a charity use it?
Yes. CanadaHelps, Every.org, Givebutter and GoFundMe pages all work, and the buttons say Donate.
Is the card in French on a French page?
Yes. The buttons, the e-Transfer row and the line about who handles the money are all in French.

Make it easy for people to back you.

One card holds every way to support you, and the money never stops at Portage.
