Lay out your links as a grid, a carousel or a fold.
A long list of buttons gets skimmed. Group the links under any heading and lay them out together: tiles two to a line, a row that swipes, or a section that opens when it’s tapped.
Free on every Portage page, with every other feature. Nothing to upgrade to.
The same three links, three ways.
One heading and the links under it, drawn as a grid, a carousel and a fold. Every link stays in the page either way, for search engines and screen readers.
As a grid, from Maple & Rust As a carousel, from Maple & Rust As a fold, opened with a tap, from Maple & Rust
Three layouts, one heading at a time.
Grid
Two tiles to a line on a phone, more on a computer. A link with a picture shows it big.
Carousel
A row of cards people swipe through, the next one peeking in so it’s clear there’s more.
Fold
The heading becomes a button that opens the links under it, so a long list stays out of the way until it’s wanted.
Tidy a long page in three steps.
Put a heading over the links.
Merch, Listen, Past streams: whatever groups them.
Choose a layout for it.
Grid, Carousel or Fold, in the heading’s options. Stack keeps them as they were.
Add pictures where they help.
In a grid or a carousel, a link with a picture becomes a tile with the picture big.
How far a collection reaches.
- It takes the link rows straight under the heading. A note, a player or a sign-up ends it and is drawn as usual.
- Rows in your 18+ section never join a collection. The section keeps its own place and its own gate.
- A fold hides links until it’s opened, so keep the one link everybody needs outside it.
