Send everyone to one link

Redirect your link in bio straight to one link, for a few hours.

On release day, a premiere or a ticket drop, nobody should have to find the link. Send every tap on your bio link straight there, for as long as you choose, then back to your page.

Free on every Portage page, with every other feature. Nothing to upgrade to.

dustmoth, an example producer. On release day, the Bandcamp link is where every tap would go. Open the page

One link, for a set time, for everybody.

  • Straight there

Everyone who opens your page goes straight to the row you pick, from every bio and every printed code.

  • For as long as you say

An hour, six, a day or three days at most. When the time’s up your page is back, with nothing to undo.

  • The same for everyone

Nothing about the visitor is read to decide, so a search engine is sent where a person is, and nobody sees something different.

Turn it on in three steps.

Start a page for your release

  1. Open Send everyone to one link.

It’s in the editor’s settings, once your page is live.

  2. Pick the row and how long.

Any web link on your page that isn’t locked or in your 18+ section.

  3. Publish.

Taps go straight there from now until the time you chose. You can stop it early.

What a tap does while it’s on.

Three steps, from the bio link to the one that matters, and back to your page when the time is up.

  1. Someone taps your bio link

    portage.camp/@dustmoth

The same address as always, from every bio and every printed code.

  2. They land on the one link

Straight there, no page in between

A pre-save, the tickets, the premiere, the stream. The same for everybody who comes.

  3. When the time is up, it stops

Up to 72 hours, then your page again

Nothing to remember. Your page comes back by itself, with every row where you left it.

Anyone who wants your page while it’s on can still open it at portage.camp/@dustmoth/stay.

Where it won’t send people.

  • Never past a gate: not to a locked row, a row in the 18+ section, or anywhere from a page with a content warning.
  • Web links only. An email or a phone number can’t be where everybody goes.
  • Three days at most. It’s for a moment, not a new home for your bio link.

Questions about sending everyone to one link.

Can people still see my page while it’s on?
Yes. Your page’s address with /stay on the end shows it, with a line saying where everybody else is being sent.
Does it hurt my page in search?
It’s a temporary redirect that ends by itself, so search engines treat it as short-lived and your page carries on as before afterwards.
What happens when the time runs out?
Your page is back for everyone. There’s nothing to switch off and nothing to remember.
Is sending everyone to one link free?
Yes, like every feature on Portage.

Make release day one tap.

Pick a handle, publish, and send everyone straight to what’s new when the day comes.
