Taplink and Portage
What costs money on Taplink, and what’s free on Portage.
Taplink has a free Basic plan, and charges for Pro and Business, paid ahead for months at a time, which add scheduled blocks, click stats, forms, selling, your own domain and taking its logo off. On Portage, every page feature is free.

Taplink’s prices are in Canadian dollars, as its pricing page shows them to a visitor in Canada. It sets prices by country, so they may differ where you are. On Portage, prices are in Canadian dollars. Any sales tax is added at checkout. A bank transfer is in your own currency (US dollars, pounds, euros, Australian dollars or New Zealand dollars), at a fixed price in each with no tax added, and the page for each extra shows the price where you live. Checked on on Taplink’s own pages. Prices change, so open the sources before you decide.

What people ask
How much does Taplink cost?
Taplink’s Basic plan is free. Pro is $30 for three months or $60 for a year, and Business $60 for three months or $120 for a year, in Canadian dollars as its pricing page shows them in Canada. Its questions say the shortest you can pay for is three months. That’s from Taplink’s own pages on 21 October 2026, and prices change, so check there before you decide.
Is Portage really free?
Yes. Every page feature is free for everyone. You only pay if you want an identity or business check, Unmarked to take the Portage credit off a business page, your page on a domain you already own, custom work from the studio, or, if you look after more than 5 clients’ pages, the Agency plan. One organisation running 10 or more pages of its own can choose Enterprise. There’s no trial, and you never need a card to make or keep your page.
Can I bring my Taplink page to Portage?
Yes. The guide at portage.camp/from/taplink has the steps on a phone and on a computer. You see your page rebuilt on Portage before you sign up, and nothing goes public until you publish.
Do the people who follow me need to do anything?
No. Once your Portage page is published, you swap the link in your bio for your portage.camp address, and everyone who taps it lands on your new page. Your old page can stay up for as long as you like.
Other comparisons: Linktree, Beacons, Stan, Carrd, Campsite, Lnk.bio.
