Linktree’s prices are in Canadian dollars, as its pricing page shows them to a visitor in Canada. It sets prices by country, so they may differ where you are. On Portage, prices are in Canadian dollars. Any sales tax is added at checkout. A bank transfer is in your own currency (US dollars, pounds, euros, Australian dollars or New Zealand dollars), at a fixed price in each with no tax added, and the page for each extra shows the price where you live. Checked on on Linktree’s own pages. Prices change, so open the sources before you decide.

What people ask

Is there a free alternative to Linktree?

Portage is one. It’s a link in bio page with every feature free for everyone: stats, scheduled links, email sign-ups and their download, players, every theme and full control over colour and fonts. There’s no trial, and you never need a card to make or keep your page.

What does Linktree charge for?

Linktree has a free plan. Starter is $10 a month ($7.50 a month billed yearly), Pro is $17 ($13.50), and Premium is $39 ($33.50), in Canadian dollars as its pricing page shows them in Canada. Pro and Premium have a 7-day free trial. Its paid plans add things like scheduled links, longer click history, your own fonts, a subscriber download and taking its logo off. The table on this page has each one, with its source.

Does Portage take a cut of what I sell?

No. Portage doesn’t take payments at all: your page links to the shop, booking or tip page you already use, and you’re paid there, the same as before.

Can I bring my Linktree over?

Yes. Copy your Linktree page in your browser and paste it on portage.camp, and you see it rebuilt before you sign up. The steps for a phone and a computer are at portage.camp/from/linktree.

Do the people who follow me need to do anything?

No. Once your Portage page is published, you swap the link in your bio for your portage.camp address, and everyone who taps it lands on your new page. Your old page can stay up for as long as you like.
