Bio.link and Portage
What costs money on Bio.link, and what’s free on Portage.
Bio.link sells one Pro plan, which adds your own domain, more sites, an email list and taking its branding off. On Portage, every page feature is free.
Checked on , on Bio.link’s own pages.
Side by side
What Bio.link charges for, and what Portage charges for the same thing. Every page feature on Portage is free.
| What | On Bio.link | On Portage |
|---|---|---|
| Taking the Bio.link branding off | Pro[1] | Free, with a small “Made with Portage” credit. Unmarked takes it off a business’s page: $99 a year |
| Your own domain | Pro. Its help centre calls it a paid feature[2] | Free at portage.camp/@yourname. A domain you own: $19 a year |
| Posts and an email list | Pro[1] | Free |
| More sites | Unlimited on Pro[1] | One page per account, with every feature, free |
Bio.link’s prices are in dollars, as its home page shows them. The page doesn’t say which dollars. On Portage, prices are in Canadian dollars. Any sales tax is added at checkout. A bank transfer is in your own currency (US dollars, pounds, euros, Australian dollars or New Zealand dollars), at a fixed price in each with no tax added, and the page for each extra shows the price where you live. Checked on on Bio.link’s own pages. Prices change, so open the sources before you decide.
Bio.link’s home page says you can get started for free and start a free trial, but not whether a free plan stays free or how long the trial is, so neither is in this table.

What people ask
How much does Bio.link cost?
Bio.link’s Pro plan is $14.99 a month, or $7.49 a month billed yearly, as its home page shows it. The page doesn’t say which dollars. That’s from Bio.link’s own pages on 29 October 2026, and prices change, so check there before you decide.
Is Portage really free?
Yes. Every page feature is free for everyone. You only pay if you want an identity or business check, Unmarked to take the Portage credit off a business page, your page on a domain you already own, custom work from the studio, or, if you look after more than 5 clients’ pages, the Agency plan. One organisation running 10 or more pages of its own can choose Enterprise. There’s no trial, and you never need a card to make or keep your page.
Can I bring my Bio.link page to Portage?
Yes. The guide at portage.camp/from/bio-link has the steps on a phone and on a computer. You see your page rebuilt on Portage before you sign up, and nothing goes public until you publish.
Do the people who follow me need to do anything?
No. Once your Portage page is published, you swap the link in your bio for your portage.camp address, and everyone who taps it lands on your new page. Your old page can stay up for as long as you like.
