Three new Halloween themes. See them

Stream schedule

A stream schedule that shows every viewer their own time.

Type your week once, in your own time zone. Someone in Sydney sees Sydney times, someone in Toronto sees Toronto times, and nobody has to do the maths in chat.

Free on every Portage page, with every other feature. Nothing to upgrade to.

Northwind, an example streamer. Open it anywhere and the times are yours. Open the page

Set it once. It keeps up by itself.

  • Their time, worked out on their phone

Each visitor’s own device converts your times, so a late stream that runs past midnight where they are shows on the right day.

  • A calendar that follows you

Viewers can subscribe to your schedule in their own calendar app. Move a stream and it moves there too.

  • Nights off without editing the week

Mark a night off or a week away and the schedule says so, then goes back to normal by itself.

Not only for streamers.

The same schedule row, on three example pages. A server’s voice nights and a running club’s Saturday mornings work exactly the same way.

  • A streamer’s usual week, from Northwind
  • A Discord server’s voice nights, from The Long Portage
  • A running club’s weekly runs, from Hill Repeats

Three steps, then never again.

Start a streamer’s page

  1. Add a Schedule row.

Pick your time zone once. The editor suggests the one your computer is set to.

  2. Type your nights.

A day, a start and an end for each one, with a note if you like (“Retro night”).

  3. Mark the odd night off.

When you take a night off or go away, say so on the row. Your usual week stays as it is.

What it doesn’t do.

  • It’s a weekly timetable. For one-off dates, like a charity stream or a meetup, use an Events row beside it.
  • It doesn’t read your schedule from another site. You type it here, once.
  • It won’t start or end your stream. The live badge does that part, and it’s a separate row.

Questions streamers ask about schedules.

How does it know my viewer’s time zone?
Their own phone or computer works it out, in their browser, from the time zone it’s set to. Nothing about where they are is sent to us.
Can viewers add my schedule to their calendar?
Yes. There’s an Add to calendar button under the schedule. It’s a subscription rather than a download, so when you change a night, their calendar changes too.
What happens when daylight saving time changes?
Your times stay put in your own time zone, and each viewer sees them moved for theirs, so a stream at 8 pm your time is still at 8 pm your time after the clocks change.
Can it show when I’m live, too?
Yes. Add your channel as a link and it shows a live badge while you’re streaming, right beside your schedule.

Stop converting time zones in chat.

Pick a handle and your page starts with the schedule row and the live badge ready to fill in.
